Welcome to Panda Studios—Where Art Meets Design™. I’m YON, the artist behind Panda Studios, an independent art studio with a deep love for urban art, bold design, and street culture.
The beginnings
Panda Studios was born from a desire to merge the rawness of street art with the precision of design. I wanted to create a space that celebrates creativity without boundaries, where art isn’t confined to galleries but lives on walls, apparel, and everyday items.
Art is more than just visuals; it’s a language—a medium for conversation, expression, and connection. I believe in its power to spark ideas, stir emotion, and bring people together. That’s why every product I create is crafted with care and intention, grounded in authenticity and built to carry meaning.
What I Do
I fuse typography, photo manipulations, digital collage techniques and analog art to tell stories that are often overlooked. The vibe? Think streetwear meets fine art.
What drives my work is motion, movement in thought, in the streets, and in culture. My inspiration pulls from graffiti, underground zines, music, photography, digital decay, movies, graphic design, and raw textures. This constant flow keeps my creative process alive, always evolving with the rhythm of urban life.
My Background
I studied Graphic Design at The Art Institute of Vancouver, and for nearly two decades, I’ve worked alongside companies to elevate their presence through thoughtful, custom design solutions. From branding to art direction, my goal has always been to bring clarity and impact to visual storytelling. Today, I’m channelling that experience into my passion for street art and design—continuing the journey with Panda Studios.
Born and raised in Mexico City, AKA “La Gran Tenochtitlan,” I’m a city boy with a punch. Even so, I’m easy-going and funny, though I prefer to stay behind the scenes; let’s just say I’m not the public figure type.
